Data science Internships

A data scientist uses scientific methods and processes to study data and identify the most important information.


Most data scientist internship roles require candidates to be working towards or have a degree in Computer Science or similar courses. However, it is possible to partake in a data scientist internship with no experience if the candidate has experience working in a data scientist role or has gained the skills required for the role in past jobs.

Typical Tasks

  • English Level: B1

  • Understanding of statistics and probability

  • Knowledge of coding & Google analytics

  • Basic knowledge of machine algorithms

  • Studying/completion of a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or other related fields

  • Proficient in Python or R

  • Conducting exploratory analyses

  • Developing analytics

  • Data mining

  • Extracting knowledge to reveal important trends in data

  • Helping develop data prototypes

  • Programming

  • Statistical and analytical research

  • Creating visual representations of analytics
