An IT Security Engineer intern plays a key role in ensuring security systems are kept to a high standard for an organisation and its customers.

Requirements
Typical Tasks

  • English Level: B1

  • Studying/completion of a technology-based degree e.g., Computer Science

  • Strong knowledge of security standards or framework

  • Familiarity with network, systems, infrastructure and encryption knowledge

  • Contributing to customer IT security questionnaire responses

  • Assisting with security assessments for third party services

  • Assisting with access control auditing of information security systems

  • Supporting data protection, GDPR and privacy policy initiatives
